Rapid7, LLC provides vulnerability assessment and risk management software that helps organizations protect their networks, software and applications from internal and external intruders. Rapid7 has hired Vista Consulting as an interim VP Marketing, working with them for the past 2 years to build visibility and awareness in a very crowded software market. We have developed and executed all aspects of their marketing plan including a new brand, web site, other marketing materials and executing demand generation marketing activities.

The new brand required the development of a new logo and web site that helped them stand out from the plethora of security companies. We developed a logo that indicates speed and expertise. From the logo, the web site defined the value proposition of their software product to prospective clients.

To drive traffic to the web site, we implemented a pay-per-click campaign that has taken unique visitors from 2,500 per month to over 5,000 per month in less than a year. In addition, changes to the web site to walk prospects through a "learn, try, buy" scenario has increased page views from 6,000 per month to 12,000 per month.

For a major tradeshow, we developed the booth signage to reflect the web site imagery and key messages from the site. This backdrop enabled us to use the signage for several tradeshows as an eye catching image with high level messages.

For some very targeted publications, we produced an advertisement, in both full page and half page, that speaks to our key audience regarding their network security issues.
